During the drive, we told stories about my brother's impact on our lives and read the many postings from friends and relatives left on the www.modbee.com & www.allenmortuary.com websites.
Except for the absence of my brother Mark, this was a perfect day and one that I am so grateful I was able to share with my loving brother and other family members!
As we were driving we recognized the driveway to a cabin that my family used to own and drove up to the cabin (about seven vehicles) and met the current owner, stopping to take a group picture out in front.

Dear Philip,
I heard from Joe Magana about Mark's passing. It is amazing that you cannot imagine a person's impact on your life until you hear news like this. I felt as if I was losing one of my parents all over again. Maybe this is partly because we attach so many strong feelings to our adolescent years, but I will always look to Mark and Gloria as spiritual parents. They wil never understand the magnitude of their ministries how it has touched not only the lives of those in their youth ministry, but the generation of children that came after. Please accept my sympathy and condolences. I am truly sorry for iyour loss. Please pass this on to the rest of your family members as well.
God Bless,
Cheryl Keckler
